DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Business Development
- Actively identify and engage potential clients within the assigned geographical area.
- Develop leads through cold-calling, networking, referrals, and community engagement.
- Promote and sell financial products and/or insurance solutions tailored to clients’ needs.
- Present product features, benefits, and pricing clearly to clients, addressing objections effectively.
- Negotiate terms of agreements and close sales while ensuring compliance with company and regulatory policies.
- Track sales activities and performance metrics to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Provide personalized advice and support to clients regarding products and services.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, requests, or complaints and escalate issues when necessary.
- Follow up with clients after sales to ensure satisfaction and product usage.
Market Analysis & Strategy
- Conduct local market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
- Develop insights about client needs and preferences to inform sales strategies.
- Report market feedback and customer insights to the management team to improve products and sales approaches.
Administrative & Reporting Duties
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, leads, and sales activity in CRM or company systems.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends to the supervisor.
- Ensure all sales documentation, including contracts and compliance forms, is completed accurately.
Personal Development & Compliance
- Stay updated on company products, financial regulations, insurance policies, and industry trends.
- Attend training sessions, workshops, and sales meetings as required.
- Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal company requirements.
- Uphold the company’s values, ethics, and professional standards in all client interactions.
Community & Geographical Engagement
- Leverage local knowledge to identify key areas and networks for potential business growth.
- Engage with local leaders, organizations, and communities to expand outreach and visibility.
- Represent the company positively in local events, community meetings, or industry gatherings.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or Degree in any field from a recognized institution.
- Proven sales experience, preferably in financial institutions, insurance companies, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of the assigned geographical area and local market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in basic computer applications and CRM tools (preferred).
