DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
  • Ensure smooth check-in/check-out procedures and handle guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor occupancy rates, reservations, and room availability to maximize revenue.

Staff Supervision:

  • Lead and supervise staff across all departments to ensure high productivity and service standards.
  • Schedule staff shifts and assign tasks to ensure efficiency and coverage.
  • Train and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service.

Customer Service & Guest Relations:

  • Maintain a high standard of hospitality and guest service at all times.
  • Handle guest complaints, feedback, and special requests in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Develop initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.

Financial & Inventory Management:

  • Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the hotel.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective operations without compromising service quality.
  • Oversee procurement and inventory of hotel supplies and amenities.

Health & Safety Compliance:

  • Ensure the hotel complies with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.

 

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Hotel Manager or in a similar supervisory role in the hospitality industry
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations and service standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving abilities
  • Customer-focused mindset with an eye for detail
