JOB SUMMARY

The Hotel Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experience, operational efficiency, revenue growth, compliance with hospitality standards, and effective team management.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership & Operational Management

  • Provide overall leadership and supervision of all hotel departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, Security, and Administration.
  • Develop and execute business strategies that align with the hotel’s vision, mission, and financial objectives.
  • Set operational goals and ensure efficient day-to-day management to achieve consistent service delivery and guest satisfaction.
  • Implement performance metrics and ensure accountability across all departments.

Guest Experience & Service Excellence

  • Champion a guest-centric culture that delivers personalized, memorable experiences aligned with 4-star hospitality standards.
  • Monitor guest feedback through various channels (surveys, online reviews, direct interactions) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of guest concerns and maintain a strong presence in public areas to engage with guests personally.

Financial Management & Profitability

  • Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans in collaboration with department heads.
  • Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Implement cost-control measures while maintaining quality and service standards.
  • Analyze financial reports and recommend strategies to enhance operational efficiency and revenue generation.

 

Human Resources & Talent Development

  • Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of qualified staff in all departments.
  • Lead training and development programs to enhance employee skills, motivation, and service performance.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, set clear objectives, and promote a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork, respect, and professional growth.

Compliance, Health & Safety

  • Ensure the hotel operates in full compliance with local and international labor laws, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Maintain proper licensing, permits, and certifications required for hotel operations.
  • Establish and enforce safety and security policies to safeguard guests, employees, and property.

Sales, Marketing & Business Development

  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to develop strategies that drive occupancy, ADR (Average Daily Rate), and RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room).
  • Strengthen relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and online platforms to expand market reach.
  • Support marketing campaigns, brand positioning, and customer retention programs to enhance the hotel’s visibility and reputation.

Stakeholder & Community Relations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, suppliers, local authorities, and community stakeholders.
  • Represent the hotel in professional associations and community events to enhance brand presence.
  • Provide regular performance reports and business insights to ownership or the Board of Directors.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (mandatory)
  • Professional certification in Hotel or Restaurant Management is a strong advantage
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in the hospitality industry, including at least 3 years in a managerial role within a 4-star or higher property
  • Strong working knowledge of hotel operations, financial management, and customer service best practices
  • Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera, Fidelio, Odoo, or equivalent
  • Work Permit, Visa, Ticket and accommodation all offered
