DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Craft High-Quality Beverages: Prepare a wide variety of cocktails, mocktails, and signature drinks with consistency, precision, and flair—ensuring each drink meets house standards in taste, presentation, and preparation time.
- Deliver Outstanding Guest Experience: Engage warmly with guests to understand their preferences, make personalized drink recommendations, and provide an inviting and memorable bar experience.
- Maintain Clean and Organized Bar Area: Ensure the bar station, tools, and glassware are always clean, well-stocked, and organized. Adhere strictly to hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
- Inventory and Stock Management: Monitor stock levels of spirits, garnishes, and supplies. Assist in receiving deliveries, conducting stock counts, and alerting management when reorders are necessary.
- Innovate and Contribute to Menu Development: Stay up to date with global mixology trends and customer preferences. Create and propose new cocktails or seasonal drink specials in line with brand identity and guest expectations.
- Ensure Responsible Service of Alcohol: Follow all licensing laws and company policies to serve alcohol responsibly, including checking guest age when necessary and monitoring consumption.
- Collaborate with Service and Kitchen Teams: Work closely with waitstaff and chefs to ensure drinks are timed and paired appropriately with meals or events, maintaining a seamless guest experience.
- Manage Bar Equipment with Care: Operate, maintain, and report issues with bar equipment such as blenders, shakers, coolers, and glassware. Ensure everything functions safely and efficiently.
- Upsell and Promote Specials: Actively promote house specials, premium products, and pairings to drive revenue and enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain a Professional Appearance and Attitude: Represent the brand with professionalism, punctuality, and enthusiasm. Uphold grooming standards and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Certification in Mixology from a recognized institution
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a mixologist in a busy bar, luxury hospitality environment, or fine dining setting
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, liquors, liqueurs, cocktail recipes, and mixology methodology
- Strong understanding of balance, flavor pairing, and visual presentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused with a passion for delivering top-notch guest service
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high standard of service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
