DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Generation & Target Achievement

  • Drive sales of solar energy products including inverters, solar panels, power storage units (power tanks), and new energy batteries.
  • Consistently meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline by identifying, qualifying, and closing leads.

B2B Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Identify and engage potential business clients such as contractors, real estate developers, commercial property owners, and institutions.
  • Build long-term relationships with B2B clients through consistent follow-up, effective communication, and high-quality service delivery.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring timely responses to inquiries, proposals, and after-sales support.

Product Knowledge & Technical Sales

  • Understand and articulate the features, benefits, and technical specifications of solar energy systems and components.
  • Advise clients on product selection based on their energy needs, site conditions, and budget.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to deliver customized energy solutions that meet client requirements.

Market Research & Business Intelligence

  • Monitor trends in the solar energy industry, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
  • Provide actionable insights to the sales and product development teams based on market feedback and customer interactions.
  • Suggest improvements or new product offerings to align with market demand.

 

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client communications, and pipeline status using CRM tools.
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and activity logs.
  • Ensure compliance with company sales processes and documentation standards.

Sales Presentations & Product Demonstrations

  • Conduct in-person or virtual product presentations to potential clients and decision-makers.
  • Organize and participate in exhibitions, demos, and marketing events to showcase product capabilities.
  • Tailor presentations to address client-specific needs and concerns.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, technical, and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of client projects.
  • Share customer feedback with the internal team to improve service and product offerings.
  • Support marketing campaigns by identifying promotional opportunities and participating in field activations.

Travel & Field Work

  • Visit client sites for consultations, product assessments, and follow-ups as required.
  • Be willing and available to travel regionally or nationally for sales opportunities and exhibitions.

 

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the solar energy industry, specifically dealing with inverters, batteries, and solar systems
  • Proven track record in B2B solar product sales
  • Strong understanding of solar technologies, market trends, and customer needs
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
