DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including B2B and B2C channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, developers, and retail customers.
- Conduct regular field visits to identify client needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to management.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
- Develop marketing materials (brochures, flyers, product sheets) tailored to different customer segments.
- Coordinate promotional events, trade fairs, and product demonstrations.
- Manage and grow the company’s online presence (social media, website, digital advertising).
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate marketing campaign performance and recommend improvements.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
- Develop and implement customer retention strategies.
- Maintain a customer database and ensure timely follow-ups.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales and marketing within the hardware or construction materials industry
- Strong network of contacts within the construction, real estate, or hardware sectors is an added advantage
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic CRM tools
