DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively promote and sell company products to walk-in and prospective customers in the retail store.
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and store sales goals.
  • Develop strong product knowledge to effectively communicate features, benefits, and pricing to customers.
  • Handle customer inquiries, provide accurate information, and guide them through the purchasing process.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Prepare and present compelling sales pitches and product demonstrations.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing retail space.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels and report shortages.
  • Collect customer feedback and market intelligence to inform sales strategies.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports as required.
  • Participate in promotional activities, marketing campaigns, and brand activations when necessary.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma in Sales & Marketing or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years' proven experience in a retail sales role
  • Strong selling, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English and Kiswahili, with excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to present, negotiate, and close business confidently
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, POS systems)
  • Well-groomed and professional demeanor
