DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Acquisition and Lead Generation

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, site visits, and referrals.
  • Generate and qualify leads within the construction and infrastructure sectors including road contractors, real estate developers, and government projects.

Sales and Revenue Growth

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective planning and consistent execution.
  • Close deals by presenting tailored solutions and negotiating competitive terms with clients.

Product Promotion and Market Awareness

  • Educate clients about the technical specifications and benefits of bitumen and other construction materials offered.
  • Conduct on-site product demonstrations or technical briefings when necessary.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customer queries, providing timely and professional support.

Market Research and Competitor Analysis

  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, pricing strategies, and competitor activity.
  • Provide actionable insights to the management team for product improvement and market positioning.

Sales Reporting and Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities including client meetings, quotations issued, contracts signed, and sales closed.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market feedback.

Marketing Support

  • Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns, digital outreach, and promotional events such as trade fairs, expos, and site activations.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and digital content.

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Liaise with logistics, procurement, and finance departments to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery of products.
  • Ensure that customer deliveries and after-sales services meet quality and satisfaction standards.

Contract and Payment Follow-Up

  • Participate in contract drafting and ensure all terms are aligned with customer and company expectations.
  • Follow up on invoicing and payment collection to ensure timely cash flow and account reconciliation.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in horticulture and/or poultry farming.
  • Diploma or Degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the construction or industrial sector
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; basic proficiency in Chinese (spoken) is required
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Valid driver’s license is an added advantage
