DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect, audit, and analyze stock and sales data for all stores.
- Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring the right quantity of products is available at all times.
- Track physical stock and reconcile with system records, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
- Generate regular stock reports and provide actionable insights to management.
- Assist in stocktaking exercises, including periodic and year-end inventories.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to forecast stock needs and prevent overstocking or stockouts.
- Investigate and resolve stock variances, wastage, or shrinkage issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records in the inventory management system.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within stock control and inventory management processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree or diploma in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
- Proven experience in stock control, inventory management, or supply chain operations is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
