DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enforce the trade strategy standards in the assigned sales areas by working closely with outlet representatives to drive sales.
  • Visiting secondary outlets according to set frequency, achieving coverage and strike rate to meet sales targets.
  • Contact potential customers and list products to create new business.
  • Identify opportunities for products in order to increase sales.
  • Collection of orders to ensure timely processing and delivery, boosting sales.
  • Identify customer needs, complaints, and suggest appropriate products and solutions.
  • Ensure correct pricing of products to avoid customer dissatisfaction and loss.
  • Ensure consistency of products to customers to improve satisfaction and retention.
  • Relay product knowledge to customers to influence purchase decisions.
  • Ensure listed products are available and visible for easier access and higher sales.
  • Monitor and facilitate promotions happening at customers’ stores to increase sales.
  • Report competition activities on the ground to guide strategy and protect market share.
  • Observe proper use of sales tools, systems, and processes to capture, record, and track sales for accurate data storage and insights.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 1–3 years of sales experience in FMCG or retail trade preferred
  • Experience in route sales or field trade roles is an added advantage
  • Strong communication and customer engagement skills
  • Negotiation and selling skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
