DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Leadership & Strategy

  • Direct daily hospital operations, including staffing, scheduling, logistics, inventory management, facility readiness, and patient flow.
  • Lead the development of the operational strategy, work plans, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that are aligned with the overall hospital objectives.

Policy Implementation & Compliance

  • Develop and roll out policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and quality assurance programs.
  • Ensure adherence to Ministry of Health (MOH), accreditation, and all regulatory standards.
  • Oversee licensing requirements, audits, inspections, and internal compliance checks.

Human Resources & Performance Management

  • Supervise core Human Resources (HR) functions such as recruitment, onboarding, attendance tracking, performance appraisals, grievance resolution, and staff development.
  • Set and monitor operational KPIs, generate comprehensive performance reports, and implement continuous improvement plans.

Business Development & Reporting

  • Support growth initiatives through service expansion, building stakeholder partnerships, and managing client engagement.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual Management Information System (MIS) and performance reports for senior management.

Financial Control & Resource Management

  • Manage departmental budgets, implement cost control programs, oversee supply procurement, and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Drive efficiencies to minimize wastage and optimize overall operational costs.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree in Healthcare or Health Management combined with a diploma in any medical-related discipline
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a busy hospital environment, including significant operations or administration responsibilities
  • Proven background in policy development, strategic planning, setting KPIs, performance management, and reporting
  • Experience in human resources, business development, and the enforcement of compliance and quality standards
