DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare, cook, and present deli items such as fried foods, grilled items, salads, sandwiches, and other ready-to-eat meals.
  • Ensure all food is prepared according to established recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.
  • Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the deli area, kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
  • Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management, including receiving and proper storage of supplies.
  • Assist customers courteously and professionally, responding to inquiries about deli products.
  • Ensure timely restocking and display of deli items to maintain product freshness and attractiveness.
  • Reduce food wastage through proper preparation, handling, and storage.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve daily production and sales targets.
  • Follow all company policies and operational procedures.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Certificate in Food Production or a related field from a recognized institution
  • At least 2 years of experience working as a cook, preferably in a deli, restaurant, or similar food service environment
  • Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and kitchen safety procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-demand environment
  • Excellent time management, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality food
