MACHINE OPERATORS- TOILET PAPER

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and monitor toilet paper, serviette, or hand towel machines to ensure efficient production.
• Set up and adjust machines according to product specifications and production schedules.
• Inspect finished products for quality, including checking dimensions, packaging, and labeling.
• Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance on machines to prevent downtime and mechanical failures.
• Troubleshoot and report any mechanical or process issues to the maintenance team or supervisor promptly.
• Maintain clean work areas and comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Accurately complete production logs, machine reports, and other documentation as required.
• Assist in machine changeovers and production line setups as directed.
• Work collaboratively with other operators, supervisors, and quality control teams to ensure output targets are met.
• Participate in regular safety and operational training sessions.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field from a recognized institution.
• Proven experience operating converting machinery (toilet paper, serviette, hand towel machines) is a distinct advantage.
• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance, repair, and mechanical systems.
• Prior industrial or factory work experience is preferred.
• NYS graduates with mechanical or technical training are strongly encouraged to apply.
