PROJECT ENGINNER

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Planning & Execution:

• Assist in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of marine construction activities.
• Support the Project Manager in the preparation of work breakdown structures, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Ensure that project milestones and deliverables are achieved as per schedule and budget.

Technical Oversight:

• Monitor construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to design, quality, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with design and construction teams to resolve engineering issues.
• Evaluate project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure all project activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections, and report any non-compliance or potential hazards.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare and maintain detailed engineering reports, progress updates, technical documentation, and project logs.
• Assist in compiling handover documents, including as-built drawings and operation manuals.

Stakeholder Coordination:

• Communicate and coordinate with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Attend project meetings and contribute technical insights to decision-making processes.

Problem Solving & Adaptability:

• Identify potential project issues early and recommend corrective actions.
• Adapt quickly to changes in project scope, timeline, or resources.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required)
• Over 6years experience in Marine Construction (Breawaters, Quaywalls, Dredging, Reclamation)
• Strong understanding of marine construction methods, materials, and equipment
• Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and team coordination capabilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
