DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Execution & Revenue Growth
- Actively sell and distribute company products to retailers, wholesalers, and distributors
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets on a weekly and monthly basis
- Identify new sales channels and penetrate untapped markets
- Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly
Market Expansion & Business Development
- Develop and execute territory plans to grow market coverage
- Identify and onboard new clients, distributors, and retail outlets
- Expand product visibility and availability across Nyanza and Western Kenya
- Build strategic partnerships to enhance distribution networks
Customer Relationship Management
- Establish, maintain, and grow strong relationships with clients
- Provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries or complaints professionally
- Conduct regular client visits to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Gather feedback to improve products and services
Marketing & Brand Promotion
- Support implementation of marketing campaigns and promotions
- Conduct product demonstrations and in-market activations
- Ensure proper product merchandising and visibility at retail outlets
- Represent the company at trade events, exhibitions, and activations
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
- Track sales performance and provide insights to management
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- Manage assigned territory efficiently, including route planning
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or Certificate in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales within the FMCG industry
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Experience working in Nyanza/Western region is highly desirable
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- High level of self-motivation and initiative
