DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct daily visits to retail shops, bars, restaurants, and other outlets to promote and sell alcoholic beverages, including wines and spirits
  • Identify new retail outlets and expand the customer base to increase market penetration
  • Collect and process orders accurately from retail outlets during visits
  • Achieve and exceed set sales targets and KPIs consistently
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by providing excellent service and support
  • Conduct product presentations and educate retailers on the benefits and features of our alcoholic beverage portfolio
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities for growth
  • Report daily sales activities, customer feedback, and market intelligence to the sales manager
  • Ensure timely delivery of orders in coordination with the logistics team
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, collections, and customer interactions
  • Represent the company professionally at all times and uphold brand image

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma in a related field
  • Proven experience in direct sales of alcoholic beverages to retail outlets
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the wines and spirits retail market in Nairobi
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Ability to visit retail shops daily and manage order collection efficiently
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in using mobile phones and basic computer applications
