DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the tour and travel sector.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Create and maintain a solid pipeline of potential clients through direct sales, networking, and referrals.
  • Handle customer inquiries, follow up on leads, and convert prospects into clients.

Customer Service and Relationship Management:

  • Provide personalized customer service to clients, addressing their travel needs and preferences.
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly via phone, email, or in-person meetings.
  • Ensure that clients’ travel experiences meet or exceed their expectations from booking to post-travel feedback.
  • Resolve any complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.

Tour Package Design and Customization:

  • Work with clients to understand their travel preferences and tailor packages accordingly.
  • Provide expert advice on destinations, accommodation, transportation, and other travel-related services.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and new destinations to offer clients unique and attractive tour options.

 Use of Travel Software:

  • Utilize travel software and booking systems to handle reservations, flight bookings, hotel accommodations, and other travel arrangements.
  • Ensure accuracy in processing bookings and maintaining client records in the system.

 

 

 

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-ups.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the management team.
  • Keep up with industry regulations and travel documentation requirements.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree or Diploma in Tourism Management, Hospitality, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in a tour and travel company, with a proven track record in sales and customer service
  • Proficiency in travel software and booking systems (e.g., Galileo, Amadeus, Sabre, etc.)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage several client accounts simultaneously
  • Excellent knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Good understanding of the travel industry, destinations, and services
