DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement effective van sales strategies to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Plan and manage assigned sales routes to ensure maximum market coverage and efficiency.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base within the assigned territory.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Negotiate prices, promotions, and product placements to increase sales volume.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback to management.
- Ensure proper stock management, including loading, offloading, stock reconciliation, and minimizing losses.
- Maintain accurate sales records, route reports, and customer data.
- Supervise and guide van sales staff (where applicable) to ensure performance targets are met.
- Ensure company vehicle is properly maintained and complies with safety standards.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Ensure timely cash collection and proper banking in line with company policies.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Certificate/Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or a Business-related field
- Proven experience in FMCG van sales
- Strong sales, negotiation, and basic leadership skills
- Experience managing sales routes and achieving targets
- Valid driving licence (preferred)
