DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement effective van sales strategies to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
  • Plan and manage assigned sales routes to ensure maximum market coverage and efficiency.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base within the assigned territory.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Negotiate prices, promotions, and product placements to increase sales volume.
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback to management.
  • Ensure proper stock management, including loading, offloading, stock reconciliation, and minimizing losses.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, route reports, and customer data.
  • Supervise and guide van sales staff (where applicable) to ensure performance targets are met.
  • Ensure company vehicle is properly maintained and complies with safety standards.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure timely cash collection and proper banking in line with company policies.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Certificate/Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or a Business-related field
  • Proven experience in FMCG van sales
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and basic leadership skills
  • Experience managing sales routes and achieving targets
  • Valid driving licence (preferred)
