DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Target Achievement

  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales in assigned territory.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products.

Client & Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with retailers, bars, restaurants, and distributors.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
  • Resolve customer queries and issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.

Market & Territory Management

  • Conduct regular visits to all outlets in the assigned territory to monitor stock levels, product placement, and promotional displays.
  • Analyze competitor activity and report trends, pricing, and market feedback to management.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, visits, and customer interactions.

Product Promotion & Merchandising

  • Ensure products are properly displayed and promoted in stores and outlets.
  • Support promotional campaigns, tastings, and brand activations to drive product awareness and sales.
  • Educate clients and staff on product features and benefits to boost sales conversion.

Reporting & Forecasting

  • Prepare timely and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and activity logs.
  • Provide management with insights and recommendations for market growth.

 

 

 

Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Work closely with marketing and operations teams to execute promotions and campaigns.
  • Share best practices and market intelligence with the team to enhance overall performance.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales; FMCG, beverages, or alcohol industry experience is preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of the assigned territory (Nairobi or Narok).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
