DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Product Promotion
- Promote and actively sell solar lighting products within assigned supermarkets.
- Engage customers professionally and provide product information, demonstrations, and recommendations.
- Drive product awareness and encourage customer purchases to achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable solar lighting solutions.
- Build positive relationships with supermarket staff and customers to support product visibility and sales growth.
Merchandising & Product Display
- Ensure products are attractively displayed in line with merchandising standards and company guidelines.
- Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing product shelves and display areas.
- Monitor product placement to maximize visibility and customer engagement.
- Implement promotional displays and in-store branding activities where required.
Inventory Management & Stock Control
- Monitor stock levels and ensure shelves remain adequately stocked at all times.
- Report low stock levels, damages, or stock discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with stock rotation and inventory management within assigned outlets.
- Coordinate with supervisors and store personnel on replenishment requirements.
Reporting & Market Feedback
- Submit daily sales and activity reports to supervisors.
- Provide feedback on customer preferences, competitor activities, and market trends.
- Track sales performance against assigned targets and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support promotional campaigns and product activation activities.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Merchandiser, Sales Promoter, or Promotion Staff.
- Experience working in supermarkets, retail outlets, or FMCG environments is preferred.
- Experience in electronics, solar products, or consumer goods sales is an added advantage.
- Strong sales and persuasion skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Good customer service and relationship management skills
- Ability to meet sales targets and work under pressure
