DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Bookkeeping & Financial Records
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Maintain the general ledger and supporting documentation.
- Organize and file financial records for easy retrieval.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process supplier invoices and payments.
- Prepare customer invoices and receipts.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments.
- Reconcile customer and supplier accounts.
Bank Reconciliations & Cash Management
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Verify cash receipts and payments.
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies promptly.
Property Accounting
- Maintain accurate records of rental income and tenant accounts.
- Process rent collections and update tenant payment schedules.
- Assist in preparing property financial reports.
- Support property tax filings and other statutory compliance requirements.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards.
- Assist during internal and external audits by providing the required documentation.
Administrative Support
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Assist with budgeting and financial analysis as required.
- Perform other finance and administrative duties assigned by management.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA qualification (CPA Part II or above; CPA(K)
- 1–2 years’ experience in an accounting role within a real estate or property management company.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong bookkeeping and accounting skills.
- Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Understanding of property accounting and statutory tax requirements.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
