DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Real-Time Monitoring: Monitor multiple CCTV feeds simultaneously to detect unusual or suspicious activities, ensuring the security of people and property.
  • Incident Management: Identify and respond to incidents promptly by notifying the appropriate internal teams and/or emergency services. Ensure all incidents are logged accurately and reported in line with company procedures.
  • Footage Review & Evidence Gathering: Retrieve, review, and archive footage for investigations or legal purposes. Assist law enforcement or internal investigations when required by providing clear and time-stamped footage.
  • System Operation & Maintenance Support: Ensure that all surveillance equipment is fully operational. Report any malfunctions, coordinate with technical teams for maintenance or repairs, and perform basic system checks when necessary.
  • Security Collaboration: Liaise with on-ground security personnel to coordinate responses and confirm the status of incidents. Maintain ongoing communication for seamless security operations.
  • Compliance & Confidentiality: Operate CCTV systems in accordance with relevant laws, privacy policies, and company standards. Maintain strict confidentiality concerning surveillance footage and related information.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of surveillance activities, equipment issues, incidents, and actions taken. Prepare daily shift reports for management review.

 

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a CCTV Controller in a busy environment (e.g., shopping malls, public spaces, or large business premises)
  • Proven background in security or law enforcement is highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain alert for long periods
  • Knowledge of modern CCTV systems and surveillance software
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and make quick decisions
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion
