DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
  • Stock: Help to receive goods by checking arrived goods according to the delivery note from shipper.
  • Stock: Fill in the entry note and put the goods in their respective area and in an orderly manner.
  • Stock: Update the arrival goods status sheet in excel file and also in the StarTimes I-Boss System according to the entry note.
  • Stock: Update the quality and status of stock received.
  • Dispatch: Strictly follow warehouse management procedure to pick, pack and dispatch the goods.
  • Dispatch: Safely filing the delivery notes and update the arrival goods status sheet file according to the delivery note.
  • Operation of the Company software (Star-I-Boss) to ensure that stock records are well kept and maintained.
  • Procurement: Raise quotation, supplier evaluation and selection.
  • Shipping: Help to raise import/export documents, follow up and record file movement.
  • Verification: Make sure the quantity of physical assets in the warehouse is equal to the balance quantity in the goods status sheet.
  • Report: Prepare reports for Supervisors and the Kenya HQ warehouse and send in on time.
  • Staff Management: To be in charge of the loaders and ensure proper allocation of duties, maintenance of Company policy and regulations.
  • Integrity: To ensure the integrity of the Commercial Department transactions and reporting any misdemeanour detected or suspected in commercial transactions to relevant Manager/Supervisor or HR Department for investigation.
  • Safety and Security: To ensure  warehouse  safety  procedures  are  maintained  in storage of goods and also ensure that security regulations are followed at all times.

 

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in stock management, warehouse operations, inventory control, data entry, or secretarial/administrative work.
  • Experience preparing operational, inventory, or management reports.
  • Good understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using inventory or ERP systems is an added advantage.
