DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development & Customer Acquisition
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within hotels, restaurants, cafés, hospitals, schools, churches, and institutions.
- Develop and implement sales plans to increase market share and revenue within the assigned territory.
- Conduct regular prospecting activities, including cold calling, networking, and field visits.
- Establish and maintain a strong pipeline of potential customers.
Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Conduct regular customer visits to assess needs, resolve concerns, and identify upselling opportunities.
- Manage key accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and service requests.
Product Listing & Sales Growth
- Secure product listings and placement within targeted HORECA and institutional accounts.
- Promote company products and educate customers on product benefits and applications.
- Increase product penetration and shelf presence within existing accounts.
- Drive volume growth through effective sales presentations and product demonstrations.
Order Management & Collections
- Receive and process customer orders accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely debt collection.
- Monitor customer credit limits and escalate potential risks.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends.
- Gather customer feedback and provide market insights to management.
- Identify emerging opportunities and recommend strategies to improve sales performance.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity reports.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales data.
- Provide sales forecasts and pipeline updates to management.
- Ensure compliance with company sales policies and procedures.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in HORECA sales, preferably in tissues, detergents, cleaning products, or FMCG products.
- Demonstrated experience in listing, selling, and managing products within HORECA and institutional channels.
- Strong understanding of the procurement processes within hotels, restaurants, hospitals, schools, churches, and institutions.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Strong business development and account management capabilities.
- Results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and sales reporting.
- Valid driving license will be an added advantage.
