DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ICT Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day ICT operations within the hotel
  • Ensure all systems, networks, and devices are fully functional and secure
  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues

Hotel Systems Support

  • Manage and support hotel ERP and property management systems used for reservations, billing, housekeeping, and reporting
  • Ensure system uptime and resolve operational issues affecting hotel services
  • Coordinate with vendors for system maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting

Infrastructure & Network Management

  • Maintain LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi systems, and server infrastructure
  • Ensure data backup, recovery procedures, and system security protocols are in place
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements where necessary

User Support & Training

  • Support hotel staff with ICT-related issues and system usage
  • Conduct basic training on hotel systems and digital tools
  • Provide guidance on efficient use of ICT resources across departments

Reporting & Compliance

  • Maintain ICT documentation, asset registers, and system logs
  • Ensure compliance with ICT policies, data protection, and security standards
  • Provide regular ICT performance and incident reports to management

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree in ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • At least 3 years’ experience in ICT operations (preferably in hospitality or service industry)
  • Strong knowledge of hotel ERP or Property Management Systems (PMS)
  • Experience in network administration, system support, and troubleshooting
  • Professional ICT certifications (e.g., CCNA, ITIL, Microsoft, or similar) are an added advantage
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills
