DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Beverage Preparation
- Prepare fresh juices, smoothies, and wellness shots according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate heavy-duty juicers, blenders, and other beverage preparation equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control for all beverages.
- Customize orders based on customer dietary needs and preferences where required.
Hygiene and Food Safety
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in the preparation area at all times.
- Follow strict food safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of fresh ingredients.
- Regularly clean and sanitize equipment, work surfaces, and utensils.
Customer Service
- Greet customers warmly and take orders in a professional and friendly manner.
- Provide product recommendations and explain ingredients and health benefits where needed.
- Ensure prompt and accurate order delivery to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally.
Stock and Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels of fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries while ensuring quality standards are met.
- Report shortages, spoilage, or wastage to management.
- Support proper stock rotation using First-In-First-Out (FIFO) principles.
Equipment Handling and Maintenance
- Operate and care for juicing and blending equipment responsibly.
- Report any faults or maintenance needs promptly.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
Compliance and Quality Control
- Follow all company recipes and preparation standards strictly.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal quality standards.
- Maintain consistency in presentation and product quality at all times.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Food & Beverage Service, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Juice Barista in a high-end restaurant, café, or hotel.
- Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and food safety standards.
- Experience operating commercial juicers and blenders.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Creativity in beverage preparation and presentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and reliability.
- High level of personal hygiene and professionalism
