DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development & Sales
- Actively promote the company’s logistics services including transport, warehousing, and freight solutions
- Identify, approach, and engage potential clients through calls, visits, networking, and digital outreach
- Generate and qualify leads, ensuring consistent pipeline growth
- Convert prospects into paying customers through effective follow-ups and negotiations
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Understand client logistics needs and recommend suitable service solutions
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and handle client inquiries professionally
- Follow up on service delivery to ensure client retention and repeat business
Marketing & Brand Promotion
- Support execution of marketing campaigns and promotional activities
- Represent the company at exhibitions, events, and networking forums
- Contribute to improving brand awareness in the logistics market
- Assist in developing marketing materials and presentations
Market Research & Reporting
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify new business opportunities
- Gather customer feedback and share insights to improve service delivery
- Maintain accurate records of leads, sales activities, and client interactions
- Submit weekly and monthly performance reports to management
Coordination & Internal Support
- Work closely with operations and dispatch teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Coordinate with finance for invoicing and client billing follow-ups
- Support continuous improvement of sales and marketing processes
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in marketing, sales, or business development
- Experience in the logistics industry will be an added advantage
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet targets under minimal supervision
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools is desirable
- Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented
