DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Acquisition & Lead Generation:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, online platforms, walk-ins, and cold calling.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective buyers and tenants.

Property Listings Management:

  • Maintain an updated portfolio of residential and/or commercial properties.
  • Ensure all property listings are well-documented with high-quality photos, descriptions, and pricing details.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for potential buyers and tenants, understanding their needs and matching them with suitable properties.
  • Offer excellent customer service throughout the sales journey — from inquiry to closing.

Property Tours & Presentations:

  • Organize and conduct physical and virtual property viewings.
  • Present property features, benefits, and investment potential clearly and convincingly.
  • Provide expert guidance and answer client questions during showings.

Sales Negotiation & Closing:

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with buyers and sellers to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Prepare and assist with the execution of sales agreements, deposit handling, and coordination with legal or finance teams when necessary.

Market Intelligence & Reporting:

  • Monitor real estate market trends, competitor activity, and property values in various neighborhoods.
  • Provide clients with accurate, up-to-date advice and insights.
  • Submit regular performance reports and sales forecasts to management.

Marketing Support & Promotion:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute sales campaigns, social media promotions, and open house events.
  • Offer input on marketing materials and promotional strategies for listed properties.

Documentation & Compliance:

  • Ensure all paperwork, contracts, and documentation are completed accurately and comply with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Maintain organized records of client interactions and property transactions.

After-Sales Service:

  • Provide follow-up support to clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction and generate referrals or repeat business.
  • Assist with handover procedures and liaise with landlords or developers where needed.

Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:

  • Work closely with other sales agents, property managers, and administrative staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma/Degree in Sales, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years proven experience in real estate sales or a related role
  • Strong understanding of the Nairobi property market
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software is an added advantage
