DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service & Support
- Serve as the first point of contact for all customer inquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses via phone, email, and face-to-face.
- Handle customer complaints, returns, or service issues promptly and follow up to ensure full resolution and satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to promote loyalty and repeat business.
- Educate customers about product features, pricing, and after-sales support.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, feedback, and transactions in the CRM system.
Sales & Business Development
- Identify potential leads and proactively reach out to convert inquiries into sales opportunities.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
- Prepare and issue quotations, process orders, and follow up on pending proposals.
- Negotiate terms and close sales while maintaining profit margins.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by the management.
Client Relationship Management
- Regularly check in with key customers to assess satisfaction and anticipate future needs.
- Keep clients informed about new products, promotions, and company updates.
- Track client purchase history to personalize service and suggest additional offerings.
Reporting & Coordination
- Generate and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to the Sales Manager.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse or procurement teams to fulfil customer orders efficiently.
- Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, promotions, and client engagement strategies.
- Ensure all documentation related to sales, deliveries, and payments is accurate and up to date.
Continuous Improvement
- Provide feedback from customers to internal teams for product or service improvements.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and new products to maintain a competitive edge.
- Attend regular training and upskilling sessions to improve sales and service delivery.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- 5+ years’ experience in a sales and/or customer service role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
- Positive attitude with a passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Experience working in an industrial or commercial sector is an added advantage
