DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identify potential clients in the construction sector, including developers, contractors, and suppliers.
- Research new markets and industry trends to create sales opportunities.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and social media engagement.
- Qualify prospects to ensure alignment with company offerings.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
- Gather client feedback to improve products, services, and overall customer experience.
- Resolve client issues professionally and escalate when necessary.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, quotations, and proposals tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to maximize revenue while maintaining client satisfaction.
- Track sales performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
Marketing & Brand Promotion
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create campaigns targeting construction clients.
- Promote company services through social media, email campaigns, and local events.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to increase brand visibility.
- Develop promotional materials and presentations for client meetings.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify opportunities and threats.
- Provide regular reports on sales activity, market trends, and client insights to management.
- Suggest improvements to sales processes and marketing strategies based on data and feedback.
Collaboration & Internal Coordination
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and project execution.
- Coordinate with finance teams on invoicing, payments, and contract management.
- Support internal teams by providing client insights and market feedback for strategic decisions.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in construction or related industries.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client visits.
