TAILORS (20 POSITIONS)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate industrial sewing machines and related tailoring equipment efficiently.
• Stitch garments according to approved designs, patterns, and specifications.
• Carry out garment alterations, repairs, and finishing as required.
• Ensure all garments meet quality standards before submission.
• Maintain accuracy, neatness, and consistency in all tailoring work.
• Meet assigned production targets within the required timelines.
• Identify and report machine faults or fabric defects to supervisors.
• Observe workplace safety procedures and proper handling of equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the workstation.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and fellow production staff to ensure smooth operations.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Craft Certificate in Tailoring, Dressmaking, Fashion Design, or related field.
• Previous experience in garment manufacturing or tailoring is an added advantage.
• Ability to operate industrial sewing machines.
• Good attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be reliable, disciplined, and hardworking.
