DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Distribution
- Sell and distribute company products to retail shops and general trade outlets.
- Ensure timely delivery of products to assigned customers and routes.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
Route Management
- Plan and follow assigned sales routes efficiently.
- Ensure full coverage of all customers within the allocated area.
- Maintain consistent customer visits and order collection.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and shop owners.
- Handle customer inquiries and ensure high levels of service satisfaction.
- Identify new sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
Stock & Cash Handling
- Safely handle and account for stock issued for distribution.
- Collect payments where applicable and ensure proper documentation.
- Maintain accurate sales and delivery records.
Reporting
- Submit daily sales and delivery reports to the supervisor.
- Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
- Report any challenges affecting sales performance or delivery.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Proven experience as a TukTuk or Motorcycle rider salesperson.
- Valid license to operate a TukTuk and/or motorcycle is mandatory.
- Experience in FMCG sales, distribution, or general trade is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of local routes within Nairobi and surrounding areas.
- Strong selling and negotiation skills
- Self-driven and target-oriented
- Good time management and route planning skills
- Honest and reliable in handling stock and cash
