DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Distribution

  • Sell and distribute company consumable products to retail shops, kiosks, wholesalers, and other general trade outlets.
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets within assigned territories.
  • Identify and onboard new customers to expand market reach and increase product visibility.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.
  • Ensure timely product deliveries and accurate order fulfillment.

Market Coverage & Customer Service

  • Conduct regular route visits and maintain effective coverage of assigned sales areas.
  • Monitor stock levels at customer outlets and recommend replenishment where necessary.
  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
  • Promote company products and communicate ongoing offers or promotional activities to customers.
  • Collect market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing, and customer trends.

Reporting & Accountability

  • Maintain accurate sales and delivery records.
  • Prepare daily sales reports, route activity reports, and stock accountability records.
  • Ensure proper handling and safety of company products and assigned sales vehicle.
  • Adhere to company operational procedures and traffic safety regulations.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Previous experience as a Tuktuk Sales Representative, Motorcycle Rider Salesperson
  • Distributor Sales Representative, or in a similar field sales role.
  • Proven experience in distributing and selling products within the general trade market.
  • Strong selling, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Valid riding license for Motorcycle, Tuktuk, or both is mandatory.
  • Good knowledge of Nairobi routes and surrounding market areas is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and meet assigned sales targets.
  • Physically fit and willing to work in outdoor field environments.
