DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

End-to-End Recruitment

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job profiling, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, reference checks, and onboarding coordination.
  • Develop and maintain candidate pipelines using job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, databases, networking, and other sourcing channels.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and deliver suitable candidates within agreed timelines.

Candidate Management & Interviewing

  • Conduct structured interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates based on skills, experience, qualifications, and cultural fit.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Coordinate interviews, feedback, offers, reference checks, and other pre-employment processes.

HR Systems & Recruitment Administration

  • Maintain accurate candidate and recruitment records using ATS, HRIS, spreadsheets, and other recruitment tools.
  • Track recruitment activity, vacancies, candidate pipelines, and key recruitment metrics and prepare regular reports.
  • Ensure recruitment documentation and processes comply with company policies and applicable employment and labour requirements.

Stakeholder & Compliance Management

  • Build effective working relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about Kenyan labour laws and employment regulations relevant to recruitment and hiring.
  • Support continuous improvement of recruitment processes, employer branding, and talent acquisition strategies.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, or a similar role.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment, preferably across multiple roles or departments.
  • Technical Skills
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and digital recruitment tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for recruitment tracking and reporting.
  • Good knowledge of recruitment sourcing methods, interviewing techniques, candidate assessment, and applicable labour laws.
