SALARY KSHS. 20,000 + COMMISSION + TRANSPORT ALLOWANCE (DURING PROBATION)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify, prospect, and develop new B2B business opportunities
  • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and market research
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing corporate clients
  • Understand client needs and recommend suitable software solutions
  • Ensure excellent customer experience and long-term client retention

Market Research & Strategy

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential clients
  • Provide insights to guide product positioning and sales strategy
  • Identify new markets and growth opportunities

Product Presentation & Promotion

  • Present and demonstrate company software solutions to prospective clients
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations
  • Clearly articulate product value and competitive advantages

Negotiation & Closing

  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients
  • Close deals efficiently and professionally
  • Follow up on leads to ensure conversion

Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports
  • Track and manage sales pipeline using CRM tools or internal systems

Collaboration

  • Work closely with technical and support teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery
  • Provide feedback from clients to improve products and services

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or a similar role
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent presentation and persuasion abilities
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple client accounts effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or CRM tools is an added advantage
