CNC MACHINE OPERATOR

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 CNC Machine Operation

• Operate CNC machines according to production specifications.
• Set up and adjust machines for production runs.
• Monitor machine performance and production processes.

 Technical Drawings & Programming

• Read and interpret engineering and technical drawings.
• Read and follow CNC programs and work instructions.
• Confirm dimensions and specifications before machining.

Quality Control

• Inspect finished components for accuracy and quality.
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Identify and report defects or quality issues.

Machine Maintenance & Safety

• Perform routine machine checks and basic maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all machine safety and workplace procedures.

 Production Support

• Meet assigned production targets and schedules.
• Report machine faults and production issues promptly.
• Work closely with supervisors and other production staff.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience operating CNC machines in a production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of CNC programs and machine setup procedures.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments will be an added advantage.
• CNC machine operation and setup skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
