DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivery Operations & Timeliness
- Safely transport orders from the kitchen to customers in Kirigiti and surrounding Kiambu routes in a timely and efficient manner.
- Utilize efficient route planning and strong knowledge of local shortcuts/traffic patterns to minimize delivery times and optimize fuel efficiency.
- Double-check orders prior to departure to ensure all items, sides, beverages, and receipts are correct and properly packaged.
Customer Service & Brand Representation
- Serve as a positive brand ambassador by providing polite, professional, and friendly service upon delivery.
- Consistently reflect the restaurant’s values, hygiene standards, and culture during all interactions with customers and team members.
- Politely handle basic customer queries on site and promptly report any order discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
Vehicle Safety & Maintenance
- Operate the motorbike safely at all times, strictly adhering to all traffic rules, speed limits, and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine daily checks on the motorcycle (brakes, tires, oil levels, lights, and fuel) before starting shifts.
- Keep the motorcycle and delivery top-box clean, hygienic, and well-maintained. Report any mechanical faults immediately.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Valid Class A/A2 Riding License with a clean riding record (no major traffic violations).
- Valid National ID and updated Good Conduct Certificate (or willing to provide one).
- Prior experience in food delivery, quick-service restaurant (QSR) delivery, or courier services is a strong added advantage.
- Excellent, hands-on knowledge of Kirigiti, Kiambu Town, and adjacent surrounding neighborhoods.
- Ability to use GPS navigation apps, WhatsApp, and digital delivery/payment tools efficiently.
