DERMATOLOGIST/SKINCARE SPECIALIST

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Consultation & Skin Assessment

• Conduct professional skin consultations to assess clients’ skin conditions and concerns.
• Analyze skin types and diagnose common dermatological issues such as acne, hyperpigmentation, eczema, and sensitive skin.
• Develop personalized skincare routines and treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.

Skincare Treatments & Procedures

• Perform skincare treatments including facials, chemical peels, extractions, and other clinic-approved procedures.
• Recommend appropriate clinical treatments and skincare products.
• Ensure all procedures follow hygiene, safety, and professional standards.

Product Recommendation & Education

• Advise clients on proper skincare routines including cleansing, treatment, and protection.
• Recommend suitable medical-grade skincare products based on skin analysis.
• Educate clients on lifestyle and skincare habits that promote long-term skin health.

Customer Experience

• Provide exceptional customer service during consultations and treatments.
• Build strong client relationships and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
• Follow up with clients to track treatment progress and results.

Clinic Operations

• Maintain accurate client records, treatment notes, and product recommendations.
• Ensure treatment rooms and equipment are clean, organized, and sanitized.
• Support the clinic in meeting treatment and product sales targets.
• Stay updated with emerging skincare technologies, products, and dermatology trends.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Diploma or Degree in Dermatology, Clinical Medicine, Nursing, or a related medical field.
• Certification in skincare therapy, aesthetics, or dermatological treatments is an added advantage.
• Valid professional registration where applicable.
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in Dermatology clinic, Skincare clinic / aesthetic center, Pharmacy with skincare consultation, Medical spa or aesthetic practice
• Strong knowledge of skin conditions, treatments, and skincare products.
• Ability to recommend effective skincare routines based on skin analysis.
• Excellent consultation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service and client relationship management
• Attention to detail and strong hygiene practices.
• Ability to meet treatment and product recommendation targets.
