DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair hydraulic equipment, systems, and components.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of hydraulic systems.
  • Repair or replace hydraulic hoses, pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, seals, filters, and related components.
  • Assemble, disassemble, install, and test hydraulic systems and equipment.
  • Conduct performance testing and quality assurance checks to ensure safety and compliance with standards.
  • Fabricate, modify, and upgrade hydraulic systems and components as required.
  • Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate service and maintenance records.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding system issues, repair options, and replacement recommendations.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Assist in training junior technicians when required.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulics, or related technical field.
  • Proven experience working as a Hydraulic Mechanic or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience with the latest hydraulic technologies and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and hydraulic schematics.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Physically fit and able to handle tools and heavy equipment.
