DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Beverage Preparation & Quality Control

  • Prepare juices, smoothies, wellness shots, and other beverages consistently according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Customize drinks for customers based on dietary preferences or health goals while maintaining product integrity.
  • Taste-test and monitor beverages regularly to ensure consistent flavor and texture.
  • Innovate by suggesting new juice blends or seasonal specials.

Equipment Operation & Maintenance

  • Safely operate industrial juicers, blenders, cold press machines, and other kitchen equipment.
  • Clean, sanitize, and maintain all equipment at the end of each shift to ensure longevity and hygiene compliance.
  • Report equipment malfunctions immediately to management.

Hygiene & Safety Compliance

  • Adhere to strict hygiene standards in food handling, storage, and preparation.
  • Monitor temperature-controlled storage for fruits, vegetables, and other perishable ingredients.
  • Follow food safety guidelines and company SOPs to prevent contamination.

 Inventory & Stock Management

  • Keep track of stock levels and report shortages or wastage.
  • Assist in receiving, checking, and storing fresh produce to maintain quality.
  • Rotate ingredients according to first-in-first-out (FIFO) standards.

Customer Engagement & Service

  • Provide friendly, informative service to customers, including nutritional advice on juices and wellness shots.
  • Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Upsell beverages and suggest add-ons to enhance customer satisfaction.

 Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with other baristas, kitchen staff, and management to maintain smooth operations.
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings to improve service quality and operational efficiency.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a juicer, smoothie maker, or barista in a juice bar, café, or similar setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate industrial juicers, blenders, and cold press machines.
  • Strong knowledge of fruits, vegetables, and superfoods used in juice and wellness preparations.
  • Excellent hygiene practices and adherence to food safety standards.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
