PHOTOGRAPHER/VIDEOGRAPHER

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Photography

• Plan and capture high-quality photographs of solar installations, products, projects, employees, customers, events, and other brand-related activities.
• Apply strong knowledge of composition, framing, lighting, angles, and visual aesthetics to produce professional images.
• Edit, retouch, organise, and prepare photographs for use across digital and print platforms.

Videography & Content Production

• Plan, shoot, and produce engaging video content for social media, marketing campaigns, product demonstrations, customer stories, events, and corporate communications.
• Operate professional cameras, lenses, lighting, microphones, stabilisers, and other production equipment effectively.
• Develop creative video concepts that communicate solar and renewable energy solutions in a clear, engaging, and accessible way.

Video Editing & Post-Production

• Edit and produce polished videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
• Add appropriate music, graphics, captions, transitions, colour grading, sound design, and other elements to enhance the final production.
• Adapt video content into different formats and lengths for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and the company website.

Social Media Content

• Create engaging short-form video content, reels, behind-the-scenes content, product features, and educational videos for social media.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop visual content aligned with campaigns, content calendars, and brand objectives.
• Stay up to date with emerging social media formats, trends, and storytelling techniques to improve audience engagement.

Creative & Project Management

• Work with marketing, sales, technical, and management teams to understand content requirements and deliver relevant visual assets.
• Manage multiple shoots and editing projects while meeting agreed deadlines and maintaining consistent quality.
• Maintain an organised library of photographs, video footage, project files, and other digital assets.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Diploma or degree in Photography, Film Production, Multimedia, Digital Media, Communication, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Photographer, Videographer, Multimedia Content Producer, or in a similar role.
• Experience within the solar, renewable energy, construction, technology, engineering, or related sectors is an added advantage.
• Technical Skills
• Proficiency with professional cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, microphones, tripods, gimbals, and other production equipment.
• Strong video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
• Good understanding of lighting, composition, framing, audio recording, colour grading, and video production workflows.
