DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Production planning:
- Develop and monitor production schedules to meet delivery timelines.
- Allocate resources effectively to maximize efficiency.
- Coordinate workflow between departments to avoid bottlenecks.
Quality control:
- Implement and enforce quality standards across all garment lines.
- Conduct inspections during different stages of production.
- Identify defects and recommend corrective actions.
Team coordination:
- Supervise production staff and assign daily tasks.
- Provide training and mentorship to improve team performance.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Line management:
- Oversee both school uniform and fashion sweater production lines.
- Ensure product differentiation and adherence to design specifications.
- Balance priorities between bulk orders and premium fashion items.
Reporting:
- Prepare regular progress reports for management.
- Track production metrics such as output, efficiency, and defect rates.
- Recommend process improvements based on data analysis.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma in Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, or Production Management.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in knitwear or garment manufacturing.
- Proven experience managing both school uniform and fashion sweater lines.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of garment production processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
