DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Property Maintenance
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs.
- Coordinate and oversee routine and emergency repairs.
- Ensure all facilities, utilities, and common areas remain functional and well maintained.
- Report major maintenance issues to management promptly.
Repairs & Contractor Coordination
- Liaise with technicians, contractors, and service providers for repair and maintenance work.
- Monitor the quality and completion of maintenance tasks.
- Ensure repair works are completed within agreed timelines.
Cleanliness & Upkeep
- Ensure common areas, compounds, and shared facilities are clean and presentable.
- Monitor waste collection and disposal.
- Maintain the overall appearance of the property.
Security & Safety
- Monitor the security of the property and report any suspicious activities.
- Ensure security measures and procedures are adhered to.
- Report safety hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Tenant Liaison
- Serve as the primary contact for tenants regarding maintenance and property-related concerns.
- Receive and respond to tenant complaints professionally and promptly.
- Foster positive relationships with tenants and promote a conducive living environment.
Property Administration & Reporting
- Maintain records of repairs, maintenance activities, and tenant issues.
- Prepare regular reports on the property’s condition.
- Report incidents, damages, or emergencies to management without delay.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Property Caretaker or in a similar role.
- Mature, responsible, and trustworthy.
- Experience in comprehensive property management.
- Basic knowledge of building maintenance, repairs, and property operations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to coordinate multiple maintenance activities.
- High level of integrity and accountability.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
