DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Van Sales & Order Management
- Visit assigned customers and outlets to promote products, generate sales, and collect customer orders.
- Process customer orders accurately and ensure products are supplied according to agreed quantities and specifications.
- Identify new sales opportunities and support the achievement of daily and monthly sales targets.
Delivery & Stock Management
- Assist with loading, transporting, and delivering products to customers along assigned routes.
- Maintain accurate records of stock received, sold, returned, and delivered.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and accountability of products while on the sales route.
Customer Service & Relationships
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, retailers, and other business partners.
- Respond to customer enquiries and resolve routine complaints professionally and promptly.
- Collect customer feedback and communicate market or customer needs to the sales team.
Route & Sales Execution
- Follow assigned sales routes and schedules to maximize customer coverage and sales opportunities.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing, and product availability within assigned areas.
- Support merchandising, product visibility, promotions, and other sales initiatives at customer outlets.
Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of daily sales, deliveries, collections, stock movement, and customer orders.
- Submit daily and weekly sales and route activity reports to the relevant supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, vehicle/route requirements, customer service standards, and proper handling of company products and assets.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Certificate or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in van sales, route sales, FMCG distribution, or a related field.
- Experience in customer orders, product deliveries, stock handling, and field sales.
- Previous experience working with retailers, distributors, shops, or other business customers is an added advantage.
- A valid driving licence is an added advantage, where the role involves driving responsibilities.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
- Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
